SlopeShield Plus Self-Adhered
PanelShield SA
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VaproShield is pleased to partner with PathHouse, whose objective is to provide the nation, starting with the Oregon region, with affordable housing. PathHouse is a modular mass timber housing system. These unique homes use both PanelShield SA weather resistive air barrier on the walls and SlopeShield Plus Self-Adhered roofing underlayment.
The VaproShield WRB air barrier membranes offer multiple benefits to PathHouse. First, they will protect the mass timber from bulk water intrusion and concurrently dry-out the mass timber through moisture vapor diffusion substantially reducing the risk of mold, cracks, staining and potential structural damage. Next, both products offer 12 months of UV and climate exposure, allowing PathHouse modules to be outside, for up to a year, until final cladding and roofing is installed.
Learn more about PathHouse, as they are looking to flip the script on affordable housing, using the simplest designs but the highest quality materials possible, creating affordable housing in communities that need them and contributing to forest restoration.
