PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A contemporary new build in West Hollywood, CA, this high-end private residence was equipped with VaproShield products on personal recommendation from the contractor, who spoke highly of positive experiences with installation and effectiveness of the high performance WRB air barrier membranes.

The owner and architect chose RevealShield SA Self-Adhered for installation under fiber cement panels due to its high drying capacity and long term UV stability. Additionally, Rainscreen SA was chosen for one step air barrier, WRB, rainscreen cavity installation under stucco and stone veneer.  The 3mm rainscreen drainage matrix offers an unimpeded vertical drainage plane behind the stucco and stone reducing the incidence of mold, mildew, rot, and cracking. VaproLiqui-Flash was also utilized around rough openings for optimal waterproofing and protection.
