PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 10,000 sq. ft. of RevealShield IT Integrated Tape was installed in the construction of the IBEW Local 58 Detroit Zero Net Energy Demonstration Center.
Built to exceed industry standards and achieve net-zero distinction, the Electrical Industry Training Center provides continuing education for the 4,700 members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers- Local 58 and the signatory contractors represented by Southeastern Michigan Chapter NECA.
Ideal for use under open joint panels, RevealShield IT offers single layer installation, and was easily installed in the variable Midwest climate. Ease of installation to achieve air barrier continuity, high drying capacity [50 perms] and contribution to LEED certification all will help the Demonstration Center achieve the lofty goal of Net Zero energy.
RevealShield IT Integrated Tape was applied onto the OSB substrate and under an open-joint facade, making it an excellent choice for this innovative construction project.
