PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Over 10,00- sq. ft. of RevealShield IT Integrated Tape was installed on the M103 building in Monterrey, Mexico. Faced with many complex construction challenges, RevealShield IT offered an all-in-one solution that saved time and money.

Humid and rainy Monterrey climate
RevealShield IT Integrated Tape was easily installed before and after rain events, so crews can continue working regardless of weather conditions. With a vapor permeance over 70 perms, RevealShield IT Integrated Tape helped the wall assembly breathe or “dry-out” during construction and will continue to do so for the life of the building.

Project located in a residential area with pedestrians nearby
Crews successfully installed RevealShield IT Integrated Tape without jeopardizing pedestrian or worker safety, as it is free of harmful VOCs.

The building was exposed throughout construction and will feature open-joint cladding
RevealShield IT is highly UV-resistant and can remain exposed for up to 6 months prior to installation of cladding system. 40% or 2 inch (5.1 cm) open-joint exposure is unlimited.

The structure’s substantial number of windows posed a challenge to flashing efforts
Only two components were required to flash the buildings, drastically reducing labor and material costs—and saving time in the process.
