Over 100,000 sq. ft. of RevealShield SA Self-Adhered was installed on the 777 Tower at Novus in Tempe, AZ.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. picked RevealShield SA for its speed of application and attractive black reveal between the building’s open joint panels, which would expose the membrane to UV rays from the hot Arizona sun. RevealShield SA was an ideal WRB/Air-barrier for the building, located in a tight, urban construction space. Entirely self-adhering, it did not require any toxic primer over the gypsum sheathing, thereby protecting nearby pedestrians and walkers.

VaproLiqui-Flash, RevealFlashing SA Self-Adhered, and Vapro-SS Flashing were also applied around the building’s abundant windows for a water-tight seal. Phase construction friendly and ideal for projects with tight timelines, RevealShield SA Self-Adhered required less labor and installed quickly—saving developers time and money.

The L-shaped office building is expected to be completed in June 2020 and will feature an open floor plan with penthouse office space and about 8,000 square feet of retail space on the first floor.
