PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Over 120,000 sq. ft. (11,148 M²) of REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED was used on Avonhurst Gardens apartments in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED was adhered to Rmax® EcoMaxCI Polysio insulation. The façade will be Cembrit High Density Fibre Cement open joint cladding.
Consisting of two residential buildings and 214 apartments, Avonhurst Gardens provides a modern living experience just minutes away from Dartmouth's many amenities. Onsite amenities include: a resident lounge, fitness center, business center, a movie theatre, two outdoor terraces and a community garden. Avonhurst Gardens offers 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartment homes all equipped with en-suite washers and dryers.
Designed for sustainability throughout the apartment complex, Avonhurst features 98% efficient natural gas boilers, low power consuming elevators, LED light fixtures and efficient central HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilators). REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED adds to the building's overall efficiency by helping to preventing air leakage to reduce energy consumption. REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED is also vapor permeable helping to reduce the risk of damage from mold, mildew, rot and corrosion which can contribute to structural damage.
