PROJECT DESCRIPTION

650 square feet of RevealShield SA Self-Adhered Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet Membrane was installed on ‘Modern Wagon’, a tiny house prototype in Wenatchee, WA.

Designed for open joint cladding, RevealShield SA Self-Adhered is exceptionally durable. Environmental damage and weathering pose no threat, as it resists bulk water infiltration and can sustain up to 6 months of UV & climate exposure prior to cladding installation. Additionally, RevealShield SA Self-Adhered is Class A Fire Rated and comes with a 20 year warranty.

RevealShield SA Self-Adhered’s innovative adhesive requires no primers and will adhere to virtually all substrates, making it ideal for the CDX plywood used on Modern Wagon. Installed in virtually all weather conditions, even as low as 20°F (-6°C), the architect did not have to account for temperature when designing and building the portable tiny home.

Once finished, Modern Wagon will serve as an architectural prototype for future commissions and designs.
