PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The first building constructed at The Residences at Fairview, a 22-unit townhouse project located in Seattle, Washington, features 72,000 sq. ft. of REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Membrane.
Designed by Atelier Jones LLC, The Residences at Fairview is perfectly positioned at water's edge and blends with the environment by maximizing water views. Residents have swimming, boating and kayaking right outside their doors, and downtown Seattle in close proximity. With its superior water resistance, REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED for open joint cladding systems was chosen to protect the building envelope of the clean and modern architecture. REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED is also vapor permeable, helping to reduce the risk of damage from mold, mildew, rot and corrosion which can contribute to structural damage.
REVEALSHIELD SA™ SELF-ADHERED contributes to LEED points in Indoor Environmental Quality and Energy & Atmosphere categories to help create environmentally sustainable townhomes. It also adds to the building's overall efficiency by helping to preventing air leakage, thereby reducing energy consumption.
