Nestled in the quaint town of Gig Harbor, this private residence faced the challenge of the Pacific Northwest’s extreme moisture. To ensure a high-performance building envelope, the owners opted for 7,000 sq. ft. of WrapShield IT Integrated Tape and SlopeShield Plus Self-Adhered. With its high permeability rating of 50 and desired shingle effect during installation, WrapShield IT boosted indoor comfort and energy efficiency despite the wet climate.

SlopeShield Plus SA was installed as a roofing underlayment beneath the metal roofing system, providing a dedicated air barrier and moisture control layer within the roofing assembly. Together, the membranes delivered a continuous air barrier, meeting goals for climate resilience, long-term durability, and energy efficiency. The Gig Harbor House is now protected against the elements for years to come.
