WrapShield SA Self-Adhered
Free of harmful VOC’s and entirely self-adhering, VaproShield’s WrapShield SA Self-Adhered was easily installed on the detailed, overhead soffit structures. Conventional products would have dripped down onto installation crews.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Cleveland Hopkins International Airport faced a challenging problem - it needed to remain open and functional while over 900 lineal feet of the structure’s exterior facade was rehabilitated. It was critical that the building’s overhead soffits be replaced. However, given the airport’s high volume of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, conventional building wraps proved too dangerous to use as these products rely on spray-on, chemical adhesives which pollute the air and drip down after application. It was VaproShield’s WrapShield SA Self-Adhered to the rescue.
Free of harmful VOC’s and entirely self-adhering, contractors installed over 60,000 sq. ft of WrapShield SA Self-Adhered on site at the airport without jeopardizing passenger safety or disrupting the day-to-day flow of travellers. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport’s newly modernized and upgraded upper ticketing level and lower baggage levels are due for completion in 2016.
