PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VaproShield’s WrapShield SA Self-Adhered was installed on 20 modules that make up the River Vine Vineyards residence. WrapShield SA Self-Adhered WRB/Air Barrier was applied directly to the sheathing on each of the 20 modular units during factory fabrication. Crews simply removed the recyclable release film and rolled over the membrane to ensure adhesion; the innovative adhesive allows for repositioning within 30 minutes reducing scrap.
WrapShield SA Self-Adhered high drying capacity helps to mitigate moisture damage within the building envelope and control air infiltration supporting the Zero Net Energy building goals. The durable orange membrane, prominently displayed during transport and construction can be exposed to the elements for up to six months.
The 4,500 sq.ft. River Vine residence is a Net Zero Energy home and was designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification. The home is one of California’s most complex, high-end pre-fabricated residence.
